Piaget studied ‘healthy’ children

Kim Wood OnlyPiaget studied ‘healthy’ children (almost exclusively) rather than disordered or challenged kids. In fact, a lot of his initial research was based on his own kids. They have since found that many of his stages are a little off, age-wise, due to his small sample size. There are many critics of Piaget who would say that his stages were incorrect. That he didn’t quite get it right in regard to what age the different stages started / ended. What would you say to them? Would you have to change your educational philosophy to account for that or is there enough fluidity built in that it wouldn’t matter? [250 words, 2 References, 2 Citations Required]
